Raffir Wood is naturally beautiful wood that is filled to the core with a plastic resin.

This process is called “stabilization”.

The final material has the unique grain patterns of the untreated wood but it obtains the mechanical advantages from the strong resin.

Good quality stabilized wood absorbs very little water. Therefore, it is less prone to warping and cracking.

It is also heavier, harder and more durable than normal wood.
